All or Nothing Thinking
This is when you think in extremes and is sometimes called black and white thinking. Eg. "This ALWAYS happens to me." "I NEVER get jobs." This type of thinking sets us up for extreme perfectionism and disappointment.
Reframe
Start developing a growth mindset, where you see your talents and abilities as always growing and improving, rather than being fixed.
Exercise 1
Grab a diary or a blank piece of paper. Reflect on these questions:
Where did I have a fixed mindset today?
Where did I have a growth mindset today?
Where did I fail?
How can I improve?
